Dirty fluid is fed under pressure into the inlet manifold and distributed equally across plates. Filter papers clamped and supported between plates separate dirt and form a cake layer for finer filtration.
Differential pressure is monitored in inlet and outlet manifolds. At a preset level, the indexing cycle starts: inlet valve closes, compressed air purges fluid from plates and dries the filter cake. Hydraulic or pneumatic cylinders open the top plate; a geared drive moves the belt supporting the cake. Once removed, the top plate closes and filtration resumes. A separate clean tank supplies fluid to your machine during indexing.
