Gravity filters take large floor area. When space is limited, a compact band filter is suggested. As dirty fluid is transferred by pump, the system can be placed away from the machine.
Filter paper is held between sealing discs and a permeable support belt. Dirty fluid drops into the trough; fluid passes through paper leaving dirt behind. The dirt layer achieves finer filtration. The filter mounts on the tank, returning clean fluid directly.
When paper chokes, fluid level rises, activating a level switch that drives rollers to eject dirty paper and dirt to a bin, pulling fresh paper from the roll.
